02. Ataraxia The Unexplained

This redesign was the final, 3 month long,fall semester project senior year at California Institute of the Arts. This multifaceted design wanted to prove the knowledge aquired during the previous years. It included collage, using an airbrush to paint, typesetting, 3D sculpting, as well as designing a (all caps) typeface. And finally, making creating an AR aspect to the project which you can see below.

The concept of the design began with the tone set by the artist. A quote from the labels description, “...the album explores tarot, astral projection, seances, and more with Garson’s signature Moog synthesizer serving as the listener’s tour guide to the paranormal.”
